Guided by the decisions/resolutions we adopted during our 5th Delegates Congress in Nairobi, Kenya, the ITUC-Africa Secretariat developed a Strategic Plan (2024-2027) as a compass for navigating our engagements to contribute to the attainment of the goals and objectives set out in the Congress resolutions. We are now halfway through the mandate from our last Congress. We wish to assess how far we have fared in meeting the goals we set for ourselves.

It is in this spirit that we invite you to participate in the ITUC-Africa Mid-Term Review Survey, being conducted as part of our quadrennial Congress cycle. This exercise is a critical moment of collective reflection and stock-taking, aimed at informing planning and prioritisation for the remaining two years of the current Congress mandate.
The questionnaire seeks to:
1. Assess how the organisation has fared in delivering on the mandate so far”
2. Assess affiliates’ views on the relative importance of Congress-adopted objectives;
3. Identify priority focus areas requiring greater attention; and
4. Strengthen alignment between affiliates’ expectations and ITUC-Africa’s strategic direction.

I wish to emphasise that your responses will directly shape ITUC-Africa’s workplans, advocacy priorities, and resource allocation for the remainder of the Congress period. This is not a procedural exercise; it is a strategic one.

The questionnaire is concise and will take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
