Position Paper to the HLPF 2023: Making the 2030 Agenda a Reality through a New Social Contract

This publication reflects the position of the Workers’ and Trade Union Major Group on the five Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be reviewed at the 2023 High-Level Political Forum (SDG 6, SDG 7, SDG 9, SDG 11 and SDG 17) and proposes a set of recommendations to achieve these Goals through the implementation of a gender transformative New Social Contract that builds on Goal 8 on decent work and sustainable growth to ensure that people and planet are at the centre of all sustainable development policies.
